The Laney Corporation serves as the corporate parent and umbrella brand for a family of independently operated, Maryland-based construction-materials and site-services companies. Each affiliate brings its own specialty — grading and paving, aggregate and asphalt production, recycling, hauling, and quarrying — while sharing the values, work ethic, and hands-on leadership that have defined the Laney name for decades.
The Laney Companies include M.T. Laney, Laney Materials, LCI Recycling, and Savage Stone.

Company History
Built Truck by Truck Since 1978

Melvin T. Laney founds the company with a single GMC tandem dump truck, laying the foundation for what would become a family of Maryland construction-materials businesses.

Michael Laney partners with Melvin, and the company adds residential paving to its site-development and hauling capabilities.

The Laney family acquires and rebrands a longstanding recycling yard, forming Laney Recycling and Aggregates and expanding the group's reach into recycled and virgin aggregates.

LCI Recycling is founded to provide residential, commercial, and industrial roll-off dumpster rental and construction debris hauling across the region.
